I really do + my Normy.......but

I need an outlet and I figure this is better then the alternative:) It all starts with everyone playing downstairs and I needed to go through some things so I was downstairs with everyone and labeling the bins I had just gone through. I had just barely marked one bin and was ready to mark an other when I could not find my SHARPIE. Previous experiences have shown me this is not a good thing so I start to look for my marker, and I notice Normy is missing. As I am walking upstairs to find my precious Normy I notice that the walls have been tagged. Now I am upset because we have talked about this and he knows it is not right, but think this is not tooooo bad I could clean it up pretty fast, but as I am walking to his bedroom I notice it in the hall way both sides. Madder but still thinking we will make it through. I do find Normy in his room coloring on paper, but I do take the marker from him and tell him they are mommy's markers and not for him to use. Thinking he has learned his lesson I go to get the magic eraser in the back of my house above my washing machine and then I see it my half wall railing covered in blue sharpie. LOST IT! Luckily I had already talked to Normy so I didn't feel the need to go back and talk to him or who knows where I would be righting this post from. While I am cleaning up Normy is begging for a drink. The dishes in the dish washer are clean and I tell him to get a cup out of there and get his own drink. Not to long after I have told Normy to get his own drink he comes to me with the lid to a water bottle and you can tell he doesn't want to talk to me because I am so stinking mad. Finally Normy tells me that his water bottle is stuck and I am thinking in the dish washer so I tell him to figure out something else to drink out of, but where the water bottle was really stuck was in the fridge over flowing with water. Once again we have been through this before so Normy gets some towels and cleans up the mess. So back to the marker three magic erasers and a bottle of Clorox wipes later I pretty much have the marker cleaned up, so I decide to go back to labeling my bins. I get downstairs just in time to see Normy drop his pants to potty on the basement floor. DOES HE EVER LISTEN TO ANYTHING. We have gone through this before pee goes in the potty. For this last instance luckily Eric was home and could deal with it because I had nothing left. I hope if anything you can get a laugh out of this and appreciate how non Normy your child is:) I do LOVE my Normy and would not change him for the world I just wish I understood where some of this is coming from.

I can totally relate. We had to paint the entire house because of Nic. I have pics of the trail that extended from the corner in the basement, along the floor, up the stairs (on the walls of course), and even in the fridge. It was lovely.

I am so glad to know, my children aren't the only ones that don't seem to listen. It does get better I promise. Just wait for the back talking to start. Loving it. I was just smiling reading this knowing, I have been there and survived. You are better than me, though, I think my kid got a swat on the butt.
